A tough thing about marketing is when you think you have a great idea, but when you share the idea with a friend or family member and they rip the idea apart- sometimes intentionally, sometimes unintentionally. It can hurt your feelings when people give feedback- especially when you didn’t ask for it!
The truth is, the best marketing comes through collaboration. Just like my book is going through rounds and rounds of editing, I need to be open to feedback on my marketing content. That’s why I’m doing this with my mom.
You don’t have to open up criticism to everyone, but find at least 1 other person who can speak into your marketing efforts. I promise you’ll have much better content because of it!
